Exeter Starlites Cheerleading is run under the leadership of Coaching Director Jennie Packham with a team of highly experienced Cheerleading coaches.
All staff members are qualified to the relevant levels required and have completed the necessary employment Criminal Records Bureau checks.
JENNIE PACKHAM
Coaching Director
Jennie has been coaching cheerleading since 2008, starting out as a volunteer choreographer and working her way up to Head Coach. She is qualified to Level 4 UKCA Cheer and Stunting, Level 2 Street Cheer, Level 2 UKCA Tumbling and BG Level 1 General Gymnastics. She has a background in dance and performing arts having graduated from the Urdang Academy of Ballet and Performing Arts in London. Jennie has coached the Exeter Starlites Squad for ECA European Championships, UKCA National and various South West competitions, choreographing the cheerleading and pom dance entries, with the team achieving 1st, 2nd and 3rd place many times including many National titles!
Jennie is overall responsible for the entire Cheer Coaching Programme across the different classes and the roles and duties of her team of coaches.
GEMMA PARKER
Secretary & Finance Administrator
Gemma has been involved with cheerleading from 2012 as a parent and an active committee volunteer in the role of Treasurer. She has a Level 2 Manual Bookkeeping Qualification and Level 5 Chartered Management Institute in Management and Leadership. After performing with the Exeter Starlites National award winning Masters Team for 2 years Gemma is now branching out into cheer coaching and has UKCA Level 2 and 3 coaching qualifications. She has the right ingredients to perform her role as an Assistant Coach and be responsible for all secretary and finance duties within Exeter Starlites.
